Omron Ventures joins Theranica’s Series B funding round as strategic investor
Theranica, an Israel-based biomedical technology company focused on developing advanced electroceuticals for migraine and other prevalent diseases, announced that Omron Ventures has joined its $35M series B funding round, which was announced earlier this March. The investment sum by Omron Ventures has not been disclosed.
Omron Ventures, the venture capital arm of Japan-based Omron Corporation and its affiliated companies was established in July 2014 to target startups in Japan and the US. Last April, Ms Tomoko Inoue was appointed as the new CEO of Omron Ventures, after her predecessor Mr Naoshi Ozawa stepped down.
